Our Mission
Ensuring Every Child Succeeds
Families in Action, Inc. is a new organization created to mobilize and support Black and Latino parents to advocate for changes that benefit their children. The concept is to strengthen the role families play in education via a program that places families in the middle of reimagining and rebuilding schools, particularly in underserved communities.
It is not enough to help parents better navigate today’s broken system. The plan is to create a parent peer leadership program that brings a unique perspective and understanding to a child’s education journey.
